CERT Public Information Event

On Saturday October 11th, 2008, The Jackson-Madison County EMA Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program set up and operated a public information booth at the Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association Fall Harvest Arts Festival held on the front lawn of Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee.

The CERT Program was assisted by the West Tennessee Amateur Radio Society (WTARS) who had a Ham (Amateur Radio) station set up at the booth demonstrating emergency communications capabilities.

The event was well attended and the weather was perfect.
